A couple of weeks back, Jan Muehlfeit, Microsoft’s vice president for corporate and government engagement throughout Europe, said that zune should be released in Europe in the first half of 2007.

Well I guess that’s not going to happen as recently, Jason Reindorp told Reuters that Microsoft could possibly launch zune in Europe before the end of the year.

Reindorp quoted saying:

“The industry moves in this sort of Christmas to Christmas cycle. Our next round of introductions will probably be in time for the holiday of this year.”

He also said that that they have done extensive research with focus groups in Europe to see how it could be modified for a European consumer.
